On Wednesday, November 21st, Prof. Alfredo Benso will give a talk about engineering challenges in life sciences.
First, he will introduce the huge complexity intrinsic to biological systems, and the tools and strategies the SysBio Group has in place for tackling it. After that, he will cover the open challenges biology poses to engineering and computational sciences in general, especially from a systemic and holistic perspective.
The talk is organized in the context of the DAUIN Lunch Seminars taking place each month at the Department of Control and Computer Engineering, Politecnico di Torino.
The event will take place in Sala Conferenza “Luigi Ciminiera”, at the 5th floor of the Department, at 12.30 p. m. sharp.
